Nancy Kovack

An ancestor of Flint, Michigan, Nancy Kovack was an undergraduate at the University of Michigan at 15, a radio deejay at 16 and a graduate of college at 19 and the holder of eight beauty awards by 20. Then, in New York she began her acting career playing one of Jackie Gleason's glea girls, as well as appearing on The Dave Garroway (1953), Today (1952) and Beat the Clock (1951). A stage role made Hollywood doors for Kovack, who signed to Columbia. Kovack later added an impressive array of episodic television credits as well as an Emmy nomination for a guest-spot in 1969 on Mannix (1967). Kovack is the famous wife of Zubin Mehta from the New York Philharmonic. She claims that she was swindled (to around 150 000) from Susan McDougal who was a crucial character in Whitewater. Sheila Summers was Darrin's ex-girlfriend Sheila Stephens during three of her appearances on Bewitched which was a comedy about situations that ran from 1964. Her father was an executive from General Motors. Zubin Mehta, her husband is a resident of Los Angeles. Her graduation was in 1954 at the Ann Arbor University of Michigan.
